A MESSAGE ABOUT

BUYER BROKERAGE

Before 1994 all Georgia Real Estate Agents represented the Sellers.  Every agent negotiated every contract with the Seller’s best interests foremost.   In 1994 the real estate laws in Georgia changed to allow Buyer Brokerage, giving buyers the right to choose legal representation.   In July, 2000, the Georgia Real Estate Laws changed again.  A Real Estate Agent is prohibited from representing a buyer as a client without first entering into a written agreement.

You will have the advantage with Sharon as your Buyer's Agent.  Sharon will be your personal advocate in the purchase of your new home.  She is completely committed to protecting your best interests; working solely for you in finding, purchasing, financing, and closing the transaction.  Sharon has no legal responsibility to the Seller or the Seller's Agent, so she is better able to protect your privacy and answer your questions completely.
